Privacy Policy

Tavern Table is a dice-rolling companion for in-person tabletop role-playing games. It is designed to collect as little as possible.

What we don't collect

• No user accounts, sign-ups, emails, or passwords.
• No names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers.
• No analytics, advertising IDs, or third-party trackers.
• No location data.
• No access to your device's camera, microphone, contacts, or photos.

What we do store

When you create or join a table, the app stores the following on our backend so other players at the same table can see the same rolls:

• The 5-character room code.
• The character name, class, and stat modifiers you type in (these are fictional game data, not personal information about you).
• The dice you roll and the flavor lines shown for those rolls.

Your character name is saved on your device (in local storage) so you don't have to retype it when you re-open the app.

Who can see this data

Anyone who enters your table's 5-character room code can see the rolls and roster for that table. Don't share the code with people you don't want at your table. Room codes are not indexed or listed publicly.

Data retention

Roll history and table data may be retained indefinitely to keep tables working over time. If you'd like a table's data deleted, contact us at the address below with the room code.

Children

Tavern Table is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Using the app after that date means you accept the updated policy.
